Solar energy is the energy that we get from the sun. Harnessing radiant sunlight and heat from the sun which is used to generate electricity, and solar thermal energy including solar water heating, solar architecture, etc. The method of solar energy is effective in battling pollution in the environment.
Many governments around the world are now considering the option of solar energy and India is no different. Many states in India including Maharashtra are now focusing on solar energy. The solar energy method is the best for the countries which get enough sunlight and heat from the sun and India is one of those countries which can easily use the power of sunlight to convert it into solar energy.
The Sun is not just a source of energy but the source of life on the planet for billions of years, giving just enough heat to the earth to sustain life. The Sun is an ultimate free resource in space available for more than billions of years and provides energy to the Earth. The benefits of solar energy over the traditional methods are truly amazing and beneficial for the interest of the country.
Advantages Of Solar Energy
Some of the advantages which make solar energy for a nation irresistible are following
India is one of the most beneficial countries in the world from solar energy because the sunlight and the heat that the country receives from the sun is very large as compared to some other countries.
The cost benefits of solar energy can also be seen in the usage of the house in the country. As people who prefer to choose the solar panel over the electricity which is provided by the government.
There is no doubt that this is the reason why the Indian government has chosen solar energy. That is because it does not cause any negative impact on the environment. The traditional methods have compromised the well-being of the environment and as well as of the people of the nation.
Above are some of the reasons why a nation will choose solar energy for its future and sustenance.
The government of India has plans for solar energy. The government has taken the challenge where close to 175 GW worth of renewable energy will be installed by the end of the 2022 calendar year. This 175 GW of energy is divided by 5 GW of hydropower, 60 GW worth of wind power, 100 GW of solar energy, and 10 GW generated from bio-power. This shows the government is more interested in solar energy than other resources because the availability of heat and sunlight in India creates a perfect place to apply solar panels.
Concluding Thoughts
ALFA INFRAPROP is the largest developer of renewable energy in India. We care about the future of the nation and care for the environment and try to reduce the dependence on old traditional methods. We are already ready for the installation and implementation of a thermal power plant of 2640 MW capacity at Komarada village, Andhra Pradesh.
