2021 Environmental Days Calendar

As different and difficult 2020 was for the Human race, it gave Mother Nature a chance to
breathe. A chance to recover from all the damage that we have caused. With the hit of the
virus, fewer people were out on the streets, leading to fewer cars on the road, minimized
noise and air pollution led to a greener and cleaner planet. It was like beauty in disguise.
Apart from the forced pause that was put upon all of us, it also taught us to take a break and
look around, live in the present. It gave us a chance to look at the environment become
greener.

2020 was a year full of learning’s and 2021 is the year where we test how much we’ve learned
as a community and what changes we think we should make.
Environmental observances and world day campaigns are a great way to raise awareness
for a cause that is meaningful to you or your company. This 2021 Calendar of Environmental
Awareness Days can be used to:

1. Raise awareness and sensitivity among you, your team, your people
2. Take a step towards sustainability, renewability, and thoughtful environmental
   development
3. Find events you can support in your own community
4. Compare the benchmark of last year’s environmental status to see if the graph is
   getting better or worse

On that note, Alfa is working towards switching to the usage of renewable resources. So that
we can live a life of balance. A renewable resource is a natural resource that will replenish
to replace the portion depleted by usage and consumption, either through natural
reproduction or other recurring processes in a finite amount. For example, the ocean.
If the ocean of used to manufacture power we can be sure it would never completely exhaust.
