With its pre-existing distribution networks and manufacturing expertise from Solar Carbons, the Company launched in Nagpur, India in 1996. In 1997, detonators were first manufactured by Promoters of Economic Explosives Ltd. In addition, in 1997 the owners of thermal power plant in India started manufacturing the non-explosive components used to produce detonators. Beginning in the year 2000, the founders of Solar Capitals Ltd began producing explosives in large quantities.
Solar has grown sales
