Many of us don’t realise but climate change is the real thing it is affecting us increasingly
every day and might start harming us if we don’t pay enough attention or take steps to
improvise on the deterioration .
What is climate change?
Climate change is nothing but a change in pattern of weather and
related changes in ocean levels, land surfaces, ice sheets; these occur over time scales of
decades or longer. It’s a slow process but a humming process now you may ask what
change in the weather we are specifically talking about. Weather is nothing but the state of
the atmosphere so basically changes in temperature humidity wind speed rainfall patterns
and so on over hours to weeks.
Now that we discussed how climate change is dangerous and slowly approaching
humankind let’s move on and discuss the main cause of climate change. It’s simple. The
main cause of climate change is human activity. Civilisation started when people started
having cooked food and started building spaces for them to live in. For food purposes they
started burning forests to do agriculture farming and further burnt forests for making safe
spaces to live in, to convert land out of forests. Burning fossil fuels produces carbon dioxide,
a greenhouse gas. It is called a greenhouse gas because it produces a “greenhouse effect”.
The greenhouse effect is a natural process that warms the Earth’s surface. When the Sun’s
energy reaches the Earth’s atmosphere, some of it is reflected back to space and the rest is
absorbed and re-radiated by greenhouse gases. The creation of an extra amount of heat on
earth by an increase in greenhouse gases the planet is getting warmer than it should be.
Among the few changes that we can already notice due to climate change hours are
appearances of more violent weather phenomena like droughts, fires, deaths of animal and
plant species, flooding from rivers and lakes, untimely rains and extended climate seasons.
Nations around the world are trying to research and develop a way to control climate change
to restore climate original nature.
It’s important to remember the equally vital contributions that can be made by private
citizens—which is to say, by you. Not just nations but individuals like you Also the knowledge
in and are ready to work to words improvising the condition of climate change like
somebody’s quoted“Change only happens when individuals take action,”. This gives the
planet hope. Quoted by unknown “There’s no other way, if it doesn’t start with people.”
To understand climate change in the easiest way possible let us put it in this way: carbon
dioxide is a harmful gas which is released every time we burn resources like oil, coal or other
fossil fuels to generate energy. This energy is in turn used in our homes, cars and
smartphones. By using less of it, we can curb our own contribution to climate change while
also saving money.
