Solar energy is the energy that is generated by the radiance and heat from the sun. Sun
energy can be used in different manners to benefit from it for example it can be used to
generate electricity or generate hot water streams that would otherwise require electric
power. Now we know that sunlight is a resource that is never-ending or indefinite so we can
be sure of it never be exhausted. This is the biggest advantage of solar energy. Other
advantages of solar energy include less maintenance cost and less electricity consumption.
Now there are always two sides to the same coin and that is why solar energy not only has
advantages but also has disadvantages to name a few, we know that sunlight is also
seasonal and completely depends on your geographical location. So if we plan on
depending on solar energy for our electrical needs we know that we may or may not get
sunlight for a few days. The next disadvantage could be the storage of solar energy. Now it
is a very expensive deal to store solar energy or even install solar panels for that matter. A
lot of people find it tough to even find the space for installing solar panels as not everyone
has a big empty space like a terrace or aground.
However, it’s the need of the time to switch to renewable resources of energy as we are
almost on the verge of exhausting other forms of energy.
In this blog we are going to be covering the aspects of:
Uses of solar energy:
